Once you arrive at the Tribhuvan international airport, you will be welcomed by the representative of Touch Kailash. After meeting the representative, you will go to the hotel and clear all the check-in formalities and leave you at the hotel to take a rest.

After having a hot and nourishing breakfast, we will start our day by exploring Pashupatinath. After visiting Pashupatinath, we will visit other UNESCO sites around the Kathmandu valley. Firstly, we will visit Bouddhanath, one of the largest stupas in the world that is one of the sacred sites in Tibetan Buddhism outside of Tibet. From Bouddhanath, we will head towards Swayambhunath, the monkey temple. After visiting Swayambhunath, we will visit other UNESCO world heritage sites and return to the hotel and spend overnight.

Early in the morning, we will take a tourist bus and drive towards Pokhara after having breakfast at Kathmandu. From Kathmandu to Pokhara, it is about 7 to 8 hours of drive, and we will be at Pokhara. After reaching Pokhara, firstly, we will clear all the check-in formalities in the hotel and take a rest for sometimes. In the evening, we will roam around Phewa Tal and enjoy the sunset views on the bank of Phewa Tal and return to the hotel and spend overnight.

Firstly, we will take a short drive towards Ghandruk after having a hot breakfast at Pokhara. From Pokhara, it is about 4 to 5 hours of drive, and we will be at Ghandruk. Before reaching Ghandruk, we will pass through beautiful village Tikhedhunga and Ulleri, a beautiful Gurung village offering stunning views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhhare mountains. After reaching Ghandruk, firstly, we will check in the hotel and explore around the village. After exploring the village, we will be back to the hotel and spend overnight here.

Today, we will explore all around the Ghandruk village. Early in the morning, before starting our exploration, we will have our breakfast with massive views of the Annapurna, Machhapuchhare, and Mardi Himal. After breakfast, firstly, we will visit Gurung Museum, where we get to know about the history, culture, and traditions of Gurung people. After museum visit, we will take a short hike to Kimrong Danda, where you can enjoy more scenic views. And after short hike to Kimrong Danda, we will back to village and spend another night here.

After visiting Ghandruk, today, we will be back to Pokhara. From Ghandruk, you can also take a jeep and drive towards Pokhara, which is about 3 to 4 hours of drive. Firstly, you will directly take to the hotel and clear all the check-in formalities after reaching Pokhara. In the evening, you can roam around the Phewa Lake and enjoy the sunset view over the Annapurna range. After a mesmerizing sunset view, we will return to the hotel and spend overnight here.

Today, we will leave Pokhara and drive towards Kathmandu. On the way to Kathmandu, we will pass through many small cities of Nepal with beautiful natural scenery and mountain views. How to get Ghandruk?

To reach Ghandruk, we need to travel to Pokhara, either by a short flight from Kathmandu or by a bus/vehicle, which takes around 6-7 hours by road. Firstly, we will take a drive to Nayapul from Pokhara and from Nayapul; you can either trek to Ghandruk, which typically takes 4-6 hours through scenic villages and forests, or take a jeep ride, which takes around 3-4 hours on a rough, unpaved road. Before reaching Ghandruk, we will pass through villages like Tikhedhunga and Ulleri, a beautiful Gurung village offering stunning views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre mountains. Once you arrive in Ghandruk enjoy the serene mountain views, interact with the local Gurung people and explore the village’s traditional houses and monasteries.

Best time to visit

To explore this beautiful village, the best time is during the spring and autumn.

Spring season

During the spring, the weather is mild and pleasant during daytime, and the nights can be cool. This season is known for clear skies, lush green landscapes, and blooming rhododendrons, which make the trekking experience especially beautiful. The trails are in great conditions, and the weather is ideal for outdoor activities during spring season.

Autumn season

During this season, the daytime is warm and evening is cooler, and the weather is cool and dry, with clear skies, making it perfect for trekking.
